TECHNOLOGY ROADMAP
Thoughtful technology, built around hospitality.
Kalim Coffee is developing one connected digital ecosystem — designed to improve how guests order, how our team works and how we make decisions. Nothing described here is live yet. We’re building it carefully, around the coffee first.
In development — not yet launched.
One ecosystem, three layers.
Rather than bolting on disconnected tools, we’re designing a single connected platform from the ground up — guest-facing, team-facing and data-facing — so every part of the Kalim experience works together.
01
Customer Experience
A mobile app and web ordering platform planned to let guests browse the menu, place orders, track loyalty points and discover new Kalim products — wherever they are.
In development — not yet launched.
02
Store Operations
Internal tooling planned to help our team manage orders, track inventory and coordinate across locations as Kalim grows — starting simple and scaling with us.
In development — not yet launched.
03
Smarter Decisions
A reporting layer planned to surface sales trends, inventory signals and guest preferences — giving the Kalim team clear information to act on.
In development — not yet launched.
HOW IT CONNECTS
From order to insight.
When built, the ecosystem is designed to connect every touchpoint into a single flow.
STEP 01
Order
Guest places an order via app or web.
STEP 02
Barista
Team receives and fulfils the order.
STEP 03
Inventory & Loyalty
Stock is updated; guest points are logged.
STEP 04
Insights
Data informs the next decision.
Planned architecture — not yet built.
Privacy by Design
Data collection will be minimal and purposeful. We’re planning the privacy architecture before writing a line of production code — because trust is easier to build from the start than to rebuild after the fact.
Guest data will never be sold. Collection will be limited to what is needed to deliver the service.
CURRENT STATUS
In Development.
The Kalim digital ecosystem is in the planning and early design phase. No customer-facing features are live. We will communicate clearly when that changes.
