Our Story
From Bean to Big Dream
Binh Khiem Nguyen grew up between design studios and dark-room hours, finding late-night comfort in a cup of coffee. That curiosity grew into a decade of exploration — visiting coffee cultures across more than 20 countries, studying what makes a café feel like a place worth returning to. Kalim Coffee is what happens when that journey finds a home in Calgary.

Technology with Purpose
We’re designing a digital ecosystem for Kalim Coffee — a mobile app for ordering, loyalty and discovery, paired with back-of-house tools to support our team. None of this is live yet. We’re building it thoughtfully, starting with getting the coffee right first.
